Christ and Culture Classes Begin

Men's Discipleship Launch and Updates

Hello Maury Men,

It was a busy week for us. Not only did we have a time of fellowship and food on Sunday, but we have also launched our discipleship groups! It was was especially encouraging to see the number of men gathering who are eager to grow in the spiritual disciples.

Here are some updates for you:

  • If you do not already have a copy of Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life, please talk to Keith Cannon or order a copy

  • You are each encouraged to be on the lookout for local needs. Please let other men in our community know how they can help.

  • Start looking at local civil meetings and find ways to get involved.

  • Among the Parish body, there are many needs, please reach out to a deacon (numbers on back of bulletin) to find out what you can help with.

  • If you aren't already, subscribe to the Parish newsletter

Upcoming Events:

Note: 2nd Wednesday prayer is CANCELED this month. Instead, you are encouraged to attend the Christ and Culture class. Details Below.

  • Wednesday, January 11, 6:30 PM - Christ & Culture class at Parish. Classes will occur on the following two Wednesdays as well (the 18 and the 25 of January).

  • Sunday, January 15, After 3rd Service - Farm Fellowship will meet for a shared potluck meal and a time of singing.

  • Thursday, January 19, 5:30 PM - Monthly Thursday Men's gathering. Food provided. BYOB.
