Prayers Answered and Prayers Needed
Pray Without Ceasing
Hello Maury Men,
We praise God that Perry’s pacemaker implant surgery went well this week. He is back home though has had pain at the implant sight. Thankfully, his heart already feels better.
We as a community grieve and pray for our brothers and sisters directly affected by the Covenant School Shooting earlier this week. Continue to pray that God may grant peace to the families and friends of the school and church.
We praise God for his protection over Middle TN during the storms last night. If you know of anyone affected, please do not hesitate to email me or mention the need in the Maury Men Signal.
I would like to remind you of Romans 12:9-21 and 1 Thessalonians 5:12-28.
Remain in prayer.
Men's Discipleship Reminders
We have been encouraged to do 6 things for men's discipleship:
Memorize 1 Timothy 4:7-8.
Utilize the Keystones Series to study through Philippians (1 chapter/week). If you do not have the Keystones contact Keith or purchase here.
Memorize Chapter 13 of 1 Corinthians.
Read the Chapter at least once per week.
Buy/utilize a prayer journal.
Pray for one another, that we would grow in godliness, and that none would fall away.
Above all, remain in Scripture daily and seek for your prayer to flow from the Word.

We recently had a representative from Care Portal speak at a Thursday Gathering. As a group of men, we need to reach a consensus as to how to sign-up with Care Portal.
Calendar
Fridays, 7:00 AM - Weekly, Columbia for Christ book study in Lectures on Calvinism and The Confessional County. This week is Confessional County. Meets at Cabin Coffee in Columbia.
Wednesday, May 5, 7:00 PM - Men's Discipleship Group and study in Spiritual Disciples for the Christian Life for older men (>35) at the Eby Home (1049 The Long Run, Columbia TN, 38401).
Thursday, April 6, 7:00 PM - Men's Discipleship Group in Spiritual Disciples for the Christian Life for younger men (<35) at the Cannon Home (1793 Theta Pike, Columbia TN, 38401).
Tentative date: Thursday, April 20, 5:30 PM - Monthly men's gathering at Hawk Holcomb's home.
