Special Greeting from your Brother Chris Hwang

To my brothers in Columbia,

Some of you know me, some of you don't.

I wanted to send you all a personal note of encouragement about today’s 3/25 event – it's not too late to sign up or invite your friends at www.maurycountyforChrist.com.

I earnestly hope to see many you there.

Saturdays are hard, so even if you can make a portion of our time, it would be a joy to share this occasion with you.

This is because, like yourself, I believe the Spirit of God is gathering – I pray – a future local body who is united by reformed, confessional, and covenantal distinctives, including a positive view of the ever-expanding kingdom of God on earth in the here and now.

What makes this event so special to me is that we all get an opportunity to not only link arms together, but to link arms and encourage brothers in the Lord who may not share our distinctives, let alone the vocabulary that comes with it.

On that note, I wanted to leave you with a brief testimony of this "unity of focus" toward Columbia and Maury County, and by God's grace, the support we're receiving from the larger body of Christ:

– A brother from the CREC is leading us in hymns on the piano.

– A brother from the denomination, Covenant Presbyterian Church, who is a filmmaker and videographer has volunteered to record the entire event.

– A reformed Anglican brother / headmaster of Agathos, gave us this space for free.

– The owners of Muletown Coffee, who are not reformed, are donating their coffee in support of the event.

– And that does not include the ~15 churches in Columbia that will be represented today, Lord willing.

If you're on the fence about today, please come. Let's connect and worship the Lord together.

If you can't make it today, please lift every detail up in prayer.

Blessings,

Chris Hwang
